Fee and Commission

The Kantor Walutowy platform offers free accounts in 21 currencies and currency exchange without additional costs. Individual Clients can also order a multi-currency card. The issuance of a debit card is free of charge.

Clients are allowed to make free currency transfers of funds exchanged in Kantor Walutowy. The money will be sent under all types of SHA options which means that transfer will be settled on the same day. The amount of money that can be sent for free is measured by Licznik. Licznik registers all funds that have been exchanged in Kantor Walutowy. Each currency transfer to other banks decreases Licznik value. For currency transfers which exceed Licznik value the regular fee will be charged in accordance with the following tables of fees: Tabela Opłat, Prowzji i Oprocentowania dla Klientów Indywidualnych and Tabela Opłat, Prowizji i Oprocentowania dla Przedsiębiorców i Innych Podmiotów

Charging Options SHA, BEN, and OUR determine how fees are assessed for the payment you are initiating:

SHA - SHA option means that all correspondent bank transfer fees are shared between the ordering customer and the beneficiary customer. The ordering customer only pays Alior Bank’s standard fee.
OUR - OUR Option means that all correspondent bank transfer fees are paid by the ordering customer including any fees charged by any foreign bank. With charges OUR the beneficiary receives the exact amount sent by the ordering customer although the beneficiary’s bank might still make a charge for receiving the funds
BEN - Ben Option means that all bank fees are paid by the beneficiary customer by a deduction from the amount of the transfer except for Alior Bank’s standard fee which is paid by the ordering customer.
Special type of wire transfer is European transfer which is settled in accordance with SEPA instructions SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area)
The features of a European transfer are::

transfer only in EUR,
SHA costs option (cost share between the transfering person and the recipient),
the transfer will be made only under ordinary or urgent procedure,
the transfer will only be made through the Internet platform,
the beneficiary's bank is in an EUR country or in Iceland, Lichtenstein, Switzerland or Norway or in one of EUR dependent territories (see countries belonging to SEPA area),
z opcją kosztową SHA (koszty współdzielone między odbiorcą a nadawcą),
the recipients account number is provided in IBAN standard.
